1. Who we are

2. Using this website

You may browse this site and place orders for lawful business or personal use. You may not scrape the catalogue, copy our photographs or descriptions, resell our content, or attempt to interfere with the site. All text, product photography, layout and branding on this site belong to us or are used with permission.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You must be able to receive an articulated truck at the delivery address and have someone over 18 on site to accept the unit.

4. Orders and acceptance

An order placed through this website is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order in writing. We may decline an order where stock has sold, a price or specification is listed in error, delivery to the address is not practical, the tax exemption claimed cannot be verified, or we suspect fraud. If we decline after you have paid, we refund you in full.

5. Prices, sales tax and quotes

Prices are in US dollars and include delivery to any address in the 50 states. State sales tax added at checkout; exemption certificates accepted. The total shown at checkout — unit price, $0.00 shipping and sales tax — is the total you pay; there are no hidden fees. Written quotes are valid for 14 days unless the quote states otherwise. Prices on the site may change at any time, but the price confirmed on your order is the price for that order.

6. Product descriptions and grading

Photographs are representative of the grade being sold; used and wind-and-watertight containers vary in colour, paint markings, dents and surface rust from unit to unit. Dimensions are nominal industry sizes and small variations between manufacturers are normal. Normal cosmetic wear on a unit sold as used is not a defect. If you need a specific colour, year or condition, ask us before ordering and we will confirm in writing what we can supply.

7. Payment

Accepted methods: Credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and ACH/bank wire. Payment is due in full before dispatch unless we have agreed credit terms in writing. Modified builds require a deposit as set out on the quote. ACH and bank wire orders are dispatched once funds clear. Full detail is on the payment page.

8. Delivery, title and risk

Stock units are dispatched 3-10 business days after payment clears. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed; we are not liable for delays caused by weather, road closures, haulier capacity or events outside our control. Risk in the unit passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have received payment in full. You are responsible for site suitability, access, ground conditions, permits and any zoning or planning consent required to place a container on your land. Free shipping covers one delivery attempt; a wasted journey caused by inaccessible ground or nobody being on site is recharged at cost, as set out on the delivery page.

9. Inspection and acceptance

Check the unit before the driver leaves, note any transit damage on the delivery paperwork, and report damage or a wrong item within 48 hours of delivery with photographs.

10. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Stock units may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unmodified and in the condition delivered. For a change-of-mind return or a cancellation after dispatch, you pay the return haulage cost and it is deducted from your refund. Where a unit is damaged in transit, misdescribed or the wrong item, we pay collection and return shipping. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of the unit being received and inspected. Modified and made-to-order units cannot be returned once fabrication has started unless faulty. The full policy is on the returns and refunds page.

11. Warranty

New and one-trip units are supplied wind and watertight. Used units are supplied in the graded condition described on the listing. Fabrication work carries a 12 month workmanship warranty from the delivery date. The warranty does not cover normal wear, surface rust on used units, damage from misuse, overloading, modification by others, accident, or a unit placed on unstable ground. To claim, email us your order reference and photographs. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under applicable consumer law.

12. Permitted use of the container

You are responsible for using the unit lawfully and safely, including compliance with local codes for occupancy, electrical work, foundations and tie-downs. Containers sold as storage units are not certified as dwellings unless the quote says so in writing.

13. Limitation of liability

Our liability arising from any order is limited to the price paid for the unit. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of use, site costs, hire of alternative storage or crane standing time, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Events outside our control

Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, port congestion, strikes, accidents and government action. Where such an event prevents delivery for more than 60 days, either party may cancel the order and we refund amounts paid for undelivered units.

15. Complaints and disputes

Email sales@sctitancontainers.store with your order reference and we will acknowledge within two business days and aim to resolve within 14 days. If we cannot agree, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of Delaware have jurisdiction.

16. General

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not transfer your order to another party without our written agreement. These terms, together with your written order confirmation, are the whole agreement between us.

17. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
