About this unit

40ft Shipping Container Office with ADA Restroom - Variant B is a inspected used container home and office unit measuring approximately 40ft, supplied from current distribution stock. The container body is lined and insulated for occupied use, with framed and sealed window and door openings and an electrical fit-out that we check under power before listing. The internal layout, insulation build-up, window and door positions, electrical provision and any heating or air conditioning fitted to this unit are confirmed in writing before dispatch, along with what is supplied fitted and what is left for your own trades. Foundations or piers, utility connections and any local building, zoning or occupancy approvals are arranged by the buyer. Further fit-out work, partitions, kitchens or bathrooms can be fabricated to your drawing and quoted with the unit. Delivery is free to any address in the 50 states and is already included in the price shown; state sales tax is added at checkout based on your delivery state. This listing is an alternative stock unit of the same specification as the similarly named listing, offered separately so each unit can be sold and scheduled on its own. Winter-ready construction: this unit is insulated for four-season use with 2 in of closed-cell spray foam on the walls (approx. R-14) and 3 in on the ceiling (approx. R-21), bonded directly to the steel shell to stop condensation, over an insulated subfloor (approx. R-10) with a moisture barrier. Windows are double-pane insulated glass, and the unit is pre-wired ready for a ductless mini-split heat pump. Water supply runs in freeze-resistant PEX lines inside the insulated walls. Approximate exterior footprint: 320 sq ft.
